Introduction to Wrapped Cryptopunks
If you own a punk in Wrapped Cryptopunks and want to convert it instantly to cash, the rewards are ETH deposited to a smart contract, waiting for your punks.
A bounty of 3.3 ETH is placed on any punk. When you click on the "Accept" button, a punk selection popup appears. Placing a game token for 1 ETH on any punk means that you can deposit 1 ETH into the WC smart contract, and literally anyone, who owns any of the 10,000 Punks, can immediately exchange it for 1 Eth. The reason for a need to wrap it - because only the ERC721 NFT can interact with the company's smart contract. Since your CryptoPunk is wrapped up, it can be exchanged for any reward, posted on the platform. There are two ways to use the bounty:
| 1st way | You have ETH and want to buy a punk floor. Submit your reward and wait for the punk owner to accept it. |
| 2nd way | You have punks and you want liquidity. Instead of offering it for sale, you can exchange it instantly for ETH by accepting the highest live reward. |
Developers assign rewards, based on characteristics and attributes. The smart contract supports currently two types of bounty:
- blind bet on one of 10,000 punks;
- bet on any of 332 VR punks.
If the minimum price is 5 Eth, you can assign a 4 Eth reward to see if the holder is willing to exchange the coin at a lower price.
