How does the Airbloc work?
Airbloc aims to return ownership of data to data owners, provide apps with the tools to legally collect and monetize data, and enable data consumers to purchase explicitly matched data from a verifiable source for their business intelligence, research and targeted marketing purposes.
Personal data is collected after the explicit consent of the user is obtained, using a blockchain-based data authorization protocol, called DAuth. The owner controls the data on the public blockchain. How does it work:
Share | Ecosystem members, who provide and process data to Airbloc, will receive a share of the revenue from the data asset. |
Contribution | Contributors, who contribute by processing, validating or replicating data, will receive additional contributing rewards from the network. |
For data on Airbloc to be considered an asset, data must only be accessed by legitimate consumers of the data after the purchase has been made. Data owner privacy and access to data has a protection of its patented Privacy Shield technology. Applications can be built, using a project protocol, such as applications with data monetization business models, data marketplaces or data management platforms (DMP) that aggregate customer data. Personal data - pieces of information that, when combined together, explain and help to infer certain traits or aspects of a particular person.
