In partnership with leading zero-knowledge Ethereum virtual machine developer Astar (zkEVM), renowned global watch manufacturer Casio has released its NFT collection to celebrate its 50th anniversary. The announced release represents a new milestone in the history of Casio. A major collaboration with Casio was also officially announced by Astar Network on X.
It's important to note that Casio and Astar zkEVM, which forms a powerful alliance with Polygon, are focusing on improving scalability. Users will also appreciate Yoki Origins' gamified user interface, which launched a few months ago and is powered by the Polygon Chain Development Kit (CDK). This Ethereum Layer-2 scaling solution adds Yoki Origins' expertise to its latest partnership with Casio.
As part of the upcoming show, scheduled for May 10, Yoki Origins will present its creations, including the Casio YoPort capsule mechanism. Two versions of Casio's YoPort are unveiled, offering different numbers of NFTs: one or eight. Until the show begins, the outside world will remain waiting to see the design of this unique piece.
The Japanese watch giant has entered into a strategic partnership with developers to create digital memorabilia for this collection. The Casio watch NFT series includes eight unique pieces of art created by different artists, each featuring an iconic Casio watch model.
In addition, the original G-Shock and Astar watches, valued at 10,000 yen (approximately $64), will be among the many prizes up for grabs as part of the Casio watch NFT sale. The watch will also feature the Astar zkEVM logo.
