The issuer of the USDT stablecoin has announced a partnership with the team of the first-level Celo solution compatible with EVM. Tether representatives note the high data processing speed on the Celo network and low fees of approximately $0.001, which will make microtransactions more accessible. The introduction of USDT on the Celo platform expands the availability of the asset, providing fast and cost-effective payments, as well as strengthens reliable scenarios for the use of stable coins for users around the world.

Celo co-founder Rene Reinsberg emphasized: "USDT on Celo will create new opportunities for fast and cheap payments, as well as provide access to reliable scenarios for using stable coins, which benefits ordinary users around the world."

USDT is now available on 14 different platforms, including Ethereum, Tron, Solana, Avalanche and Omni. The issuer has also signed a memorandum of understanding with Uzbekistan and Georgia, with the aim of developing the crypto industry in these countries. Tether's reserves have increased by $10 billion over the past three months.
