The hybrid god game from Singapore's Foonie Magus, Apeiron, has announced a partnership with the Hong Kong-based esports platform Talon and Los Angeles-based United Esports. Together, they will conduct the Nova Tournament, featuring renowned web2 and web3 players from around the world to showcase Apeiron's PVP gameplay. The game, built on Ronin, is described as a mix of god, roguelite, and Battle Arena genres and is available as F2P on mobile devices. The latest version allows players to choose web3 and update their NFTs through Apeiron's Market.

The Nova Tournament consists of two conferences, each featuring eight top players. The Western event is scheduled for April 4-6, and the Eastern event for April 11-13. Matches will be conducted in a double-elimination format, "best of one" and "best of three." Participants from both events will share a total prize pool of $30,000, evenly split between the two conferences.

Players announced for the Western tournament include Rdu, Ralo, Orangie, and Brycent. In the Eastern tournament, players such as 1437, Deathsie, Raiden, and Yellow Panther will participate. "The appetite and opportunities for esports in the Web3 space continue to grow, and what we like about Apeiron is its low barrier to entry, allowing easy gameplay start, but a high ceiling, allowing experienced players to master the game," commented Talon co-founder Sean Zhang.
