Arbitrum Foundation, in collaboration with the well-known NFT brand Azuki, is developing AnimeChain - a new Web3 network for anime enthusiasts. This project aims to bring together diverse content related to anime, including original and third-party games, merchandise, and NFTs. Zagabond, CEO of Azuki, emphasized that AnimeChain will offer a unique way to interact with anime content in Web3, overcoming the fragmentation of existing anime projects in this sphere. The network will utilize Arbitrum's scalability to ensure smooth operation.
Earlier, Arbitrum Foundation announced the allocation of 200 million ARB (approximately $344 million) to support gaming projects on its blockchain over two years. Additionally, in February, the company announced funding for a film by Shane Boris, an Oscar-winning producer. According to DefiLlama, this year the total value locked (TVL) in the Arbitrum network has exceeded $3 billion, and the ARB token reached its all-time high in January, after which its value decreased by almost 30%.
