Arbitrum, Ethereum Layer 2 solution, has announced the launch of its event on the blockchain called Arbitrum Arcade. This event promises eight weeks of gaming excitement and creative interaction. The game-a-thon will kick off on March 11 through the Arbitrum portal and will feature 24 games specifically developed for the Arbitrum ecosystem. These games, deployed on Arbitrum One, Nova, or the Arbitrum Orbit chain, will offer participants a diverse gaming experience.

Game developers must deploy their games on the blockchain by March 15 to ensure their participation in the event. Content creators are especially welcomed, given the opportunity to showcase their creativity. Winners will receive a share of the $200,000 prize pool and one of three custom gaming PCs.

To join as a content creator, registration is required by March 4, 12:00 Eastern Standard Time (EST). Participants must also commit to creating engaging content related to the featured games during specific weeks. Additionally, creators have the chance to be featured on the official Arbitrum X account. They must mint NFTs on OpenSea as a token of their participation.

Among the games scheduled for the first seven weeks of the game-a-thon are Ai Arena, Army of Tactics, BattleFly, BattlePlan!, Bitmates, Cosmik Battle, Dininho, Forgotten Runiverse, Kaiju Cards, Knights of the Ether, Kuroro Beasts, and Lost Donkeys. Also featured will be Mighty Action Heroes, Minters World, Monkey Empire, Pirate Nation, Realm, SankoGameCorp, Tales of Elleria, The Beacon, Treasure, Xai, Zeeverse, and ZTX.

Participants will be able to explore three or more games each week during the event. They can use the Ethereum Clique infrastructure solution to record achievements in blockchain games. Game developer teams are also invited to deploy their games on the Arbitrum platforms by April 15, providing them a chance to participate in the final week of Arbitrum Arcade.

Another aspect of Arbitrum Arcade involves supporting aspiring content creators and rewarding engagement. Creators are offered a $200,000 grant, evenly distributed among participating creators, as well as the chance to win fully equipped gaming PCs.
