Binance has announced the launch of its 44th startup on Binance Launchpool - Manta Network (MANTA). This project represents a second-level modular system (L2) for ZK applications. Starting from January 16, 2024, users will be able to stake their BNB and FDUSD in separate pools for MANTA token farming for two days.

Following this, Binance will list MANTA on January 18. Users will have access to trading pairs MANTA/BTC, MANTA/USDT, MANTA/BNB, MANTA/FDUSD, and MANTA/TRY. It was also announced that a Seed Tag will be applied to this project.

Manta Network serves as a gateway for ZK applications, utilizing a unique blockchain and zkEVM. Manta Pacific Company addresses usability concerns through a modular infrastructure that ensures smooth integration with zkEVM. This is necessary for continuous improvement of the user experience over time.

MANTA is the native governance token of Manta Network, used for voting on the governance of Manta Pacific and Manta Atlantic networks. Users can also participate in staking to secure the network. Holders have the option to delegate their assets to collators or create their own stakes to launch their own projects.

The protocol offers modular data access capabilities. Celestia processes call data for each transaction, significantly reducing costs for transfers within Manta Pacific. Applications can be deployed using smart contracts based on Solidity and compatible with the EVM runtime environment.

Developers have the opportunity to create ZK-supporting products using universal mechanisms provided by a library of generalized and pre-compiled ZK schemes for various use cases, including DeFi, GameFi, identity, and more. Ultimately, transactions are verified after being merged with ZK proofs, providing an additional level of cryptographic security.
