Bitcoin has advanced in the ranking of the largest assets/counterparties by market capitalization, according to data from Companies Market Cap, now occupying the ninth position and surpassing Meta.

According to the portal's information, the current market capitalization of Bitcoin stands at $950.28 billion. The launch of spot ETF trading based on this asset contributed to the rise in its price to $48,500, resulting in a daily growth rate of 6.53% at the moment. None of the top 10 positions in the ranking came close to this value.

Top 10 largest assets/counterparties by market capitalization

Since the beginning of January 2024, the market capitalization of Bitcoin has increased by more than $120 billion, according to CoinMarketCap data.

One of the factors contributing to this growth and affecting the asset's price was the approval of spot Bitcoin ETFs. The decision was made by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on January 10, 2024.
