The well-known South Korean gaming company Delabs has announced raising $12 million in funding to develop three Web3-based games. This success follows the successful completion of closed testing of their kart racing game, Rumble Racing Star. Additionally, the team has released the first version of their whitepaper and announced the launch of the $DELABS token. Delabs Games investor, Polygon Ventures, expressed confidence in the team, noting their blend of classic gameplay with dynamic Web3 capabilities.

Delabs is actively working on other projects besides Rumble Racing Star, including NFT minting for the dystopian RPG Metabolts, which occurred on February 26, and the development of the first-person shooter Unreal Shooter Space Frontier. Thus, Delabs has raised a total of $12 million for three games.

The launch of the $DELABS token is planned for 2024, demonstrating the company's commitment to exploring opportunities in the Web3 gaming sphere. Previously, the company raised $4.7 million in a seed round led by Hashed. Delabs' game portfolio includes titles such as Rumble Racing Star, Space Frontier, and Metabolts, each offering various gaming dimensions.
