Double Jump.tokyo, a leading developer of web3 games in Japan, has announced a collaboration with four key companies in the fields of marketing and public relations to promote web3 games in the Japanese market. In partnership with Dentsu, Septeni Global, Septeni Incubate, and SHINSEKAI Technologies, the company aims to expand the presence and influence of blockchain games in Japan.
This initiative, named Web3 Gaming Booster, is aimed at the mass adoption of web3 games, offering publishers and developers comprehensive support, including the development of marketing strategies, data analytics, and community management.
As part of this initiative, Ubisoft, one of the largest game developers, has already announced work on its first blockchain game, Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles, targeted at the Japanese market and deployed on the leading Japanese gaming blockchain, Oasys.
Similarly, South Korean developer Com2uS plans to expand its web3 game catalog to Japan by creating a subnet, Verse, on Oasys. Double Jump.tokyo is also actively working on developing its own games, such as Brave Frontier Heroes, My Crypto Heroes, and Battle of the Three Kingdoms, the latter of which uses Sega's Sangokushi Taisen intellectual property.
This collaboration highlights the growing interest and potential of web3 games in Japan, providing new opportunities for the development and promotion of innovative gaming projects on the blockchain.
