**Avail Partners With dWallet Network To Introduce Native Bitcoin Rollups to Web3 (2 Apr)**

Apr 2, 2024

United Arab Emirates-based Avail has joined forces with dWallet Network to introduce native Bitcoin rollups within the Avail ecosystem, allowing users to manage their BTC directly on any rollup without compromising control over their digital assets.

Avail, a modular blockchain solution focused on unifying Web3 and optimizing data availability for scalable and customizable applications, collaborates with dWallet Network, a decentralized multi-chain layer, to bring programmable native Bitcoin to rollups in the Avail ecosystem.

With this integration, smart contracts on rollups built on Avail DA will have the capability to manage native BTC programmatically while ensuring user ownership. This move sets a new direction from existing Bitcoin L2 solutions that heavily rely on risky cross-chain options, where users are required to transfer ownership of their BTC.

The partnership aims to enhance Bitcoin's capabilities by utilizing dWallet's MPC infrastructure to create native bitcoin rollups, which will enable more efficient and secure transactions on the Bitcoin blockchain, thus supporting a wider array of functionalities.

Through Avail Nexus and dWallet Network integration, users can control dWallets from smart contracts in any Avail rollup using zero-knowledge coordination rollup technology. This development will open the doors for developers to benefit from Avail Fusion's security model, drawing on native assets like BTC and ETH to enhance security and consensus within the Avail ecosystem.

dWallet Network introduces the first native multi-chain staking/restaking solution to enhance the security of a different blockchain, offering developers the ability to manage dWallets and create Bitcoin signatures using a Solidity smart contract on an Avail rollup.

The collaboration between Avail and dWallet Network aligns with the shared vision of a unified Web3 ecosystem, promoting multi-chain operations and enhancing interoperability within the blockchain industry.

The partnership between Avail and dWallet Network highlights a step towards the unification of Web3, addressing scalability challenges within the blockchain industry. Avail's full-stack architecture comprising DA, Nexus, and Fusion Security solutions aims to solve the evolving scalability concerns in the blockchain space.

dWallet Network, the creator of dWallets - programmable and transferable signing mechanisms that operate on-chain, provides builders on L1s and L2s the tools to manage assets and enforce logic within Web3 in a decentralized and non-collusive manner.

Avail, on the other hand, focuses on unifying Web3 by addressing blockchain fragmentation and scalability through its Avail Trinity roadmap, which includes Avail DA, Nexus, and Fusion Security solutions. Blockchain and rollup developers can leverage Avail DA for validity-proven data availability and security benefits.
