Aethir, a decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) provider, has introduced its decentralized cloud compute network on the Ethereum mainnet. This network allows enterprises, data centers, cloud providers, and cryptocurrency mining operators to contribute their idle GPU resources to Aethir's GPU-as-a-service solutions network. Co-founder Mark Rydon highlighted the significance of the mainnet launch, stating that it offers a scalable framework for redistributing unused compute resources, fostering innovation in AI, machine learning (ML), and cloud gaming. Enterprises and developers can access compute resources from Aethir's network to train AI models or render digital content on a large scale. Aethir leverages Ethereum's staking capability and Arbitrum for fast payments to compute providers and community rewards via its native ATH token. The ATH token also plays a vital role in network governance, staking procedures, and ensuring security within the DePIN ecosystem.
