Following the Dencun hard fork, analysts have observed that Ethereum (ETH) has lost its 'ultrasound money' status. This upgrade has brought down transaction fees substantially, but it has also caused Ethereum to transition back into being an inflationary currency. The burn rate of the circulating ETH supply has reduced significantly since the upgrade.
