Remy Ra St. Felix, 25, of West Palm Beach, Florida, has been sentenced to 47 years in prison for leading a series of crypto heists. The sentence was announced by the U.S. Department of Justice.

Remy Ra St. Felix was convicted in June for leading the criminal organization responsible for multi-state robberies, including in Florida, North Carolina, and Texas. The criminals stole over $3.5 million.
Details of the Robberies
One of the robberies occurred in April 2023 in Durham, North Carolina. The criminals hacked into a couple's email and surveilled their home. They forced the male victim to grant access to his computer and cryptocurrency exchange account, allowing an accomplice, Jarod Gabriel Seemungal, to remotely steal over $150,000 in cryptocurrency.
Co-conspirators' Sentences
Seemungal was sentenced to 20 years in prison and ordered to pay $4.038 million in restitution. Elmer Ruben Castro, another participant, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit kidnapping and will be sentenced on October 1.
Thus, Remy Ra St. Felix and his co-conspirators received lengthy prison sentences for their involvement in the crypto heists.
