Data from CryptoSlam.io, an on-chain multi-chain non-fungible token explorer, reveals a decline in the global non-fungible token market sales volume over the past week. The total trading sales volume amounted to $195 million, marking an 18% decrease from the previous week.
Despite the drop in sales, there has been an increase in the number of collectors purchasing NFTs. Nearly 1 million collectors bought NFTs, showing a 37% rise from the previous week. Additionally, the number of collectors selling their NFTs also grew by 30%.
Ethereum was the most traded blockchain network in the NFT ecosystem last week, with a sales volume of $69 million, representing a 39% increase from the week before.
Bitcoin and Solana followed as the second and third most-traded blockchain networks respectively. Bitcoin-based NFT sales reached $58 million, while Solana-based NFTs amassed a trading volume of $32 million, which was a decrease of 2.89% from the previous week.
Polygon, an Ethereum scaling blockchain, also saw an increase in trading sales volume, reaching $17 million, with a 14.96% rise from the previous week.
