The recovery in the world of cryptocurrency markets persisted today, following the positive trend that began on May 3. Bitcoin (BTC) surpassed the $63,000 mark, and Ethereum (ETH) reached above $3,100. Other major altcoins like Solana (SOL), XRP, and Cardano (ADA) also experienced notable price increases.

Bitcoin and Ethereum Update

Bitcoin's value soared by 5.86% in the last 24 hours, hitting $63,030, with a trading volume of $32.62 billion. This surge led to a market capitalization of $1.27 trillion for Bitcoin.

Ethereum, the most prominent altcoin, saw a 3.87% increase in the past day, reaching $3,117, with a market cap of $374.48 billion. However, Ethereum's trading volume slightly decreased to $12.37 billion despite the price rise.

Price Surge in Solana, XRP, Cardano, Dogecoin, and Shiba Inu

Solana witnessed a 3.72% increase, surpassing $140 and reaching $145.04. Despite the price rise, Solana's trading volume dropped by 3.66% to $3.17 billion. XRP saw a 1.71% increase, nearing $0.53, with a trading volume increase of 10.52% to $1.11 billion.

Cardano's price increased by 2.56% to $0.4682 in the last 24 hours, while its trading volume decreased by 2.45% to $323.55 million. Dogecoin saw a 12.17% increase to $0.1502, and Shiba Inu rose by 7.80% to $0.00002495.

Among the altcoins showing the most growth today, Nervos Network (CKB) stood out with an 18.70% increase, reaching $0.01872. It was followed by dogwifhat (WIF) with a 17.62% rise to $3.31 and Floki (FLOKI) with a 17.11% increase to $0.0001957. Stacks (STX) saw a 13.98% rise, trading at $2.39.

On the other hand, the leading decliners in terms of value were Helium (HNT) with a 2.50% drop to $5.37, Sui (SUI) down 2.10% to $1.10, and Ondo (OND) with a 0.78% decrease to $0.8199.
