Magic Eden collaborated with APhone, a decentralized cloud phone, to offer Access Passes for sale. These passes provide one-year access to APhone's services and will be priced at 0.2 SOL each, with a limit of 5,000 units available on the marketplace.

APhone is a virtual mobile designed for download onto smartphones, enabling access to more resource-demanding applications, embracing the DePIN narrative. The project makes use of the GPU cloud infrastructure from Aethir, a decentralized cloud service provider.

William Peckham, APhone's Chief Business Officer, expressed enthusiasm about the opportunity to feature APhone Access Passes on Magic Eden, a prominent digital collectibles marketplace in the Web3 realm. The passes aim to democratize access to Web3 benefits for smartphone users, irrespective of their device limitations.

Customers purchasing passes through Magic Eden will receive an additional "10 key rewards" per unit, registered as NFTs, which can be exchanged for future token airdrops. Additionally, Magic Eden will provide a 25% boost in Diamond Rewards for APhone pass buyers.

Chris Akhavan, Chief Revenue Officer at Magic Eden, highlighted the freedom that APhone offers game and app developers from the constraints of web2 app stores. The initiative aims to support web3 game studios in launching and expanding their games through the APhone DApp Store.
