A recent blog post from Ava Labs revealed that the Avalanche C-Chain network has collaborated with payment service provider Stripe to enable verified Stripe users to purchase AVAX from Avalanche and transfer it to their wallets. This partnership has also integrated eight Avalanche Web3 apps with the Stripe platform.

The blog post mentioned that developers of apps in the Avalanche ecosystem can now incorporate a customizable widget into their interfaces, allowing users to convert traditional fiat currency into cryptocurrencies using Stripe's services.

Some apps have already confirmed their intention to incorporate the widget, such as Avalanche Core, GoGoPool, Avvy, The Arena, Zeroone, Halliday, Pakt, DeFi Kingdoms, and Shrapnel.

By teaming up, the integration aims to address the "cold start problem" in Web3, where users may lack sufficient funds in their wallets to execute transactions on the platform.

Stripe will manage KYC processes, payments, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance, freeing developers to focus solely on app development. The initial launch will offer Core portfolio users the option to create Avalanche accounts with Google or Apple IDs and fund them using bank transfers, debit, or credit cards.

Ava Labs' head of consumer products, Akash Gupta, expressed optimism that this partnership will contribute to the global adoption of cryptocurrencies, underlining the commitment to offering users user-friendly solutions that bridge the gap between traditional and digital currencies.

Additionally, Stripe recently announced the integration of stablecoin payments, particularly Circle's USDC, on Solana, Ethereum, and Polygon networks. Co-founder John Collison believes that this move will enhance the overall experience of accepting cryptocurrency payments, emphasizing the relevance of stablecoins in facilitating transactions.

The collaborative efforts of Stripe and Avalanche for fiat-to-crypto onboarding are part of Ava Labs' ongoing initiative to provide up-to-date solutions and insights on blockchain, cryptocurrency, and investment matters.
