After starting the day with an announcement regarding altcoins, South Korea's second-largest cryptocurrency exchange, Bithumb, revealed that it would be adding two new altcoins to its platform: Aioz Network (AIOZ) and Near Protocol (NEAR).

Aioz Network operates as an L1 blockchain and has interoperability with Ethereum and Cosmos, while Near Protocol functions as a sharded PoS L1 blockchain.

In the wake of this announcement, the prices of AIOZ and NEAR surged.
