Well-known noncustodial cryptocurrency wallet Trust Wallet was temporarily removed from Google Play store but has since been reinstated after a short absence. Trust Wallet shared the news of its re-entrance on the Android app store with the community through a post on X social media platform.

Google decided to temporarily remove the Trust Wallet app from the Play store without giving a specific reason. Upon receiving the notification, Trust Wallet promptly appealed the decision to challenge the action taken by Google.

During the period while awaiting Google's response, Trust Wallet advised users to alternatively download the Android APK from its official website until the issue was resolved. Now that the noncustodial crypto wallet has been restored to Google Play store, users can once again access the application.

Trust Wallet Warns Users Against Scams

In a bid to protect users from potential scams, Trust Wallet cautioned individuals to refrain from downloading any similar app from the Play store, as it could be fraudulent attempts to exploit the situation and impersonate the platform. Fraudsters often take advantage of such situations to deceive unsuspecting users.

Trust Wallet recently received information about a high-risk zero-day exploit affecting iMessage on the Dark Web, impacting iPhone users. The app's removal from Google Play store did not impact its availability on the App Store iOS or Google Chrome extension.

Community members expressed excitement over the return of Trust Wallet to Google Play store, offering new users the chance to download and install the app to access its services. Following its listing on Binance, the Trust Wallet token saw a 22% surge last year. Market analysts are closely watching to see how the app's relisting will affect its performance, currently priced at $1.03 with a decrease of 4.43%.
