Crypto analyst Edoardo Farina presented the updated XRP Rich List, highlighting the rarity of token holders due to initial distribution and market factors.
What Is the XRP Rich List?
The XRP Rich List tracks existing wallets and categorizes them by XRP holdings, indicating how many tokens are needed to be in the top 10%, 5%, or 0.01%. Recent data shows there are 6.6 million XRP wallets, but fewer than one million are actual holders, making up just 0.01% of the global population.
Who Can Be Considered a Top XRP Holder?
To rank in the top 10%, one needs to hold 2,486 XRP, while for the top 5%, the requirement is 8,758 XRP; to break into the top 1%, more than 50,000 XRP is needed. Only 663 wallets possess over 5 million XRP, placing them in the ultra-elite 0.01% of holders.
Long-Term Success in Holding XRP
According to the analyst, many XRP wallets are inactive or belong to hardcore users with multiple addresses. Given the price volatility, maintaining a top holder status requires more tokens or investments over time. Emotional control and cold storage are essential for long-term success.
The updated XRP holders list illustrates the high rarity among token holders. Achieving success with XRP goes beyond investment; it requires strategic asset management.
