Hunters On-Chain is transitioning from Polygon to the Immutable platform

Feb 10, 2024

Polish game developer BoomLand is transferring its flagship game — Hunters On-Chain — from the main Polygon network to Immutable's zkEVM. This decision comes shortly after Immutable launched its zkEVM mainnet, making Hunters On-Chain one of the first games deployed on this platform. The transition aims to enhance the user experience by offering high transaction speeds, improved interface, and reduced gas fees. These same factors initially attracted BoomLand to Polygon in 2023, but developers are now seeking new solutions for their projects.

Hunters On-Chain, a dynamic F2P role-playing game, was launched in 2023 initially through browsers and later on mobile devices. The game is a continuation of BoomLand's previous project — Hunter Arena. Quests and missions are gradually introduced in the game, with key web3 features including Hunter and Chest NFTs, as well as BGEM tokens and the native token BOOM. Integration with Sequence solution for the Horizon wallet has already been completed for streamlined servicing, and now the team is hoping for a similar effect from Immutable Passport integration, expected in the coming weeks.

BoomLand emphasized in the official announcement that this move is a strategic decision to overcome obstacles encountered last year. The company shares a common vision with Immutable — creating seamless web3 games for everyone, offering irresistible digital assets without any compromises, while focusing on innovation, user satisfaction, and ease of use.
