The Ethereum NFT collecting platform, VeVe, has introduced its new platform, VeVe Comics, along with a program for digital comic reading. The first batch of comics has been released by the industry giant, Marvel Comics. In collaboration with Marvel, VeVe offers access to over 300 new Marvel digital releases, including comics featuring Spider-Man, X-Men, Captain Marvel, and Black Panther. These new releases will be available in digital format with panel-by-panel viewing.
VeVe sets itself apart from purchasing digital comics on Amazon or Comixology by also selling limited NFT versions of comics. These NFTs come with varying levels of rarity and can be resold on the Veve trading platform. The NFT comics come with multiple covers and can be read in augmented reality within the VeVe app. Prices for NFT comics are slightly higher than standard digital versions.
The VeVe Comics app is available for download on iOS and Android. The company has stated that its integration with Marvel Comics is just the beginning of their alliance with various brands in the comic industry.
Founded in 2018, VeVe specializes in digital collectibles from various entertainment brands, including Marvel, DC Comics, Disney, and others. Immutable X is used for NFTs in games like Gods Unchained and Guild of Guardians.
