NFT Paris: NFTs attract fashion and luxury brands

Mar 4, 2024

At the NFT Paris event, held in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower at the Grand Palais Éphémère, the increasing influence of Web3 on various industries was showcased. The event attracted thousands of visitors and demonstrated the real benefits of NFT tokens and blockchain technologies for designers and high-fashion brands.

Brian Trunzo, Vice President of Polygon Labs and Head of Business Development, shared his vision of integrating fashion brands into the Polygon ecosystem. He noted that the fashion industry, despite its avant-garde nature, faces outdated processes in supply chains, design, and retail. The implementation of Web3 offers new opportunities for selling digital goods and streamlining processes.

Arianee, a company using an NFT protocol based on Polygon, has established itself in the luxury brand sphere, offering digital product passports and NFT functionality for leading global brands. Pierre-Nicolas Hurstel, CEO of Arianee, emphasized that the watch industry, in particular, is actively adopting blockchain passports, anticipating that by the end of 2024, 30% of premium watches will have blockchain-based digital certificates.

The metaverse The Sandbox stands out as a platform for building community and interacting with clients for fashion brands such as Gucci, Lacoste, LVMH, and Adidas, offering digital assets and NFTs as rewards for customers. Web3 opens new avenues for young fashion designers, allowing them to explore innovative ways to launch products and engage with audiences through NFTs, digital collections, and experiences in the metaverse.
