Introducing Xahau Monsters, a unique series of monster-themed NFTs, presented by the XRPL wallet Crossmark and XRP aficionado Ekiserrepe. These NFTs are available for purchase on Crossmark, which notably stands as the premier XRP-focused browser wallet featuring an automatic market maker and cross-chain functionality.

This series takes its inspiration from the forthcoming Halloween celebration and pays homage to the Hooks amendment, a significant step that introduced programmability to the XRP Ledger. 

These NFTs are a fundraising effort for Xahau, an XRP Ledger sidechain with smart contract capabilities. Funds from the auction will support the Xahau validator and node cluster managed by Crossmark.

After the auction, the Xahau node cluster will join the Crossmark wallet, offering free access to XRPL and Xahau fans.

The Xahau sidechain is set for a mainnet launch in 2023. Recently, Ripple's ally, SBI Holdings, announced their intent to release Expo 2025 NFTs on XRP Ledger in May 2024.

In Q4 2023, XRP Ledger's NFT scene saw significant growth, with a 38% rise in NFT count in the last month. Currently, there are 2,941,483 NFTs on XRPL, with sales reaching $40 million in October 2023.
