Pixels, a company operating on the Ronin Network, has introduced a new series of virtual pets named Doggos as non-fungible tokens (NFTs). These virtual pets are now available on the NFT marketplace Mavis Market and serve as loyal companions for farmers in the game. Luke Barwikowski, the founder of Pixels, emphasized that pets enhance the gaming experience by offering players the opportunity to care for their pets daily to unlock key benefits.
Pixels Pets provide players with an extended interaction radius, additional storage, and other benefits depending on the individual characteristics of each pet. Currently, only one collection of 250 Genesis pets has been released, making them the rarest in the ecosystem.
During the Pixels Pet Mint event, 3,000 Doggo coins are available for minting. Participation in the event requires a "Key to Success," available only to the most dedicated players. Potions will be used to determine the characteristics of the pets.
The company's PIXEL token was recently listed on the cryptocurrency exchange Binance, contributing to the growth of the in-game economy. Pixels is a "play-to-earn" (P2E) farming game that attracts more than 180,000 active users per day thanks to the Ronin Network. The integration of NFTs into the game highlights the platform's aim to increase user engagement and reflects the team's commitment to its development.
