The Splinterlands team has announced the sale of the tower defense game named Soulkeep to Double Coconut Studio, which has been working on this project for a year. As a result, Double Coconut becomes the new leader of the project, committing to release the game as soon as possible. Splinterlands believes that selling the game to a developer already involved in its creation gives the game "the best chance of success," ensuring maximum long-term value for Nightmare pack purchasers.

Splinterlands is interested in how Double Coconut will develop the Soulkeep project after its acquisition, aiming for a swift release and further enhancement of the game on the Web3 platform. The official announcement emphasizes that despite the change of ownership, Soulkeep will continue to use the Splinterlands platform for gameplay, including the website, marketplace, and collection management tools. The game will also support SPS, DEC, and Vouchers tokens, enriching their functionality.

Double Coconut's CEO, David Fox, stated in the official announcement: "We are so excited to finally launch this innovative tower defense title.
