Analysts from the international bank Standard Chartered forecast a rise in Bitcoin's value to $200,000 by the end of 2025.
Experts assert that if the U.S. approves the launch of Bitcoin ETF trading on the spot market, the price of BTC could reach $100,000 by early 2025. Furthermore, if between 437,000 to 1.32 million bitcoins (equivalent to $20.5 billion to $62 billion at current rates) are invested in derivatives, the cryptocurrency's value could increase to $200,000 by the end of 2025.
Standard Chartered specialists believe that Bitcoin's price could rise in a similar proportion to gold following the approval of spot ETF trading. However, they think Bitcoin's growth will occur faster (within one to two years), as they predict the BTC-ETF market will develop more dynamically.
Following the approval in 2004 of exchange-traded products based on gold in the U.S., the value of the metal increased 4.3 times over seven years. The bank's analysts suggest that a similarly strong bullish trend could emerge in the digital gold market, but the pace of its growth will be three times faster.
