opBNB is currently experiencing some congestion. Users may encounter transaction delays. The BNB Chain Core Team is actively working on resolving the issue, as stated in the company's message on X (formerly Twitter).
On the morning of December 28, the team confirmed that the opBNB network has been operating smoothly without any issues for several hours. Furthermore, the official statement mentioned that information regarding the root causes of the malfunction will be provided in the near future.
It's also worth noting that at the time of writing this message, the total value locked (TVL) in the network is approximately $1.19 million.
On September 13, 2023, the BNB Chain team officially announced the launch of the opBNB mainnet.
