Illuvium: Overworld, the eagerly awaited open-world monster collecting game, is gearing up for its official open beta launch in the second quarter of 2024. An exclusive gameplay preview of the hunt is already available, offering a glimpse of what players can expect after the release.
One of the beta version's key features of Overworld will be the hunt for Illuvials. Before the launch, the studio released a preview showcasing a game prototype focused on this feature, providing an early look at some gameplay aspects that players will be able to experience after the beta starts.
Illuvium co-founder Kieran Warwick announced on the official Discord server that the showcased prototype continues to be refined, and the team is fully committed to improving this important open-world feature, aiming for "the highest quality experience as we approach the open beta without any delays."
Warwick also promises that work on Overworld will not stop after the launch, and they will continue to enhance the game and add new content post-release, including "a multitude of new features." Regarding Illuvium: Arena, the recent patch 0.3.4 for Beta 3 was released, adding new features such as enhancement limits and an expanded filtering system.
