The Sandbox announces a competition to create a Stormtrooper VoxEdit poster, inviting the The Sandbox community to design a creative poster featuring the original stormtrooper. Participants are required to submit their entries by March 11th, 5:00 PM UTC. The competition prize pool is $8,000 SAND, which will be distributed among the top ten entries.

It is important to note that the main creation must be done in VoxEdit, not the entire poster. Other software can be used to create the poster design where your creation will be placed.

It is also crucial to focus on depicting the original stormtrooper, excluding "any elements, iconography, narratives, and features associated with Star Wars." The official announcement urges artists to pay attention to the original stormtrooper's helmet shape, chest armor design, shoulder pad placement, belt details, and leg elements so that "your poster reflects the original stormtrooper, distinguishing it from other stormtroopers." It is also mentioned that the poster should include the text "coming soon to The Sandbox."

The total prize pool of $8,000 SAND is intended for the top ten entries, with the winner receiving $3,000 SAND, the second-place winner receiving $2,000 SAND, the third-place winner receiving $1,250 SAND, and the remaining participants receiving $500 SAND each.

The prizes will be sent over the Polygon network, with KYC verification or verified creator status required for the top three entries, while KYC is not required for the other placements. To become a verified creator, one must either participate in five competitions and finish in the top ten in at least one of them, or have a studio associated with a GMF (Game Maker Fund) account.

Entries will be judged on a scale of 1 to 5 in three categories: creativity, aesthetics, and composition quality.
