The forthcoming Glamsterdam upgrade is a pivotal component of this roadmap, introducing block-level access lists that will enable the simultaneous processing of various segments within a block. Promise of Zero-Knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machines
Buterin also emphasized the promise of zero-knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machines (zkEVMs), which could alleviate the burden on validators by optimizing resource usage. This technology aims to enhance the overall performance of the network while maintaining security and decentralization.
Caveat in the Roadmap
