Crypto whales have recently conducted a series of significant transactions involving Ethereum (ETH) and Shiba Inu (SHIB), each valued at hundreds of millions of dollars. These transactions, which took place in quick succession, were monitored by the blockchain tracking platform, Whale Alert.
To begin with Ethereum, Whale Alert's on-chain data reveals that a major cryptocurrency holder transferred 150,000 ETH from an undisclosed wallet to the Kraken cryptocurrency exchange. This transfer was divided into three separate transactions, each consisting of an equal amount of ETH.
At the moment when these transfers occurred, the combined value of the Ethereum (ETH) being moved amounted to roughly $269.8 million.

Now, shifting focus to the Shiba Inu meme cryptocurrency, data obtained from Whale Alert's blockchain tracking indicates that a significant holder transferred close to 4.5 trillion SHIB tokens, equivalent to just under $36 million, from an undisclosed wallet to another undisclosed wallet.
For context, the trading value of Shiba Inu is currently at $0.00000799 as of the time of this report.
Blockchain data also reveals that significant cryptocurrency holders have recently relocated varying amounts of XRP and Solana (SOL), cumulatively valued at over $98 million, as reported by Whale Alert.
Here's a breakdown of these transactions:
- 1,600,000 SOL tokens, equivalent to $55.74 million, were transferred from an undisclosed wallet to another undisclosed wallet.
- A transfer of 50,000,000 XRP, valued at $27.60 million, took place from Crypto.com to an undisclosed wallet.
- Additionally, 25,300,000 XRP, amounting to $14.68 million, were moved from an undisclosed wallet to Bitstamp, which is a centralized cryptocurrency exchange.
For reference, XRP is currently trading at $0.604, while Solana is valued at $36.60 at the time of this report.
