The Ukrainian GameFi project WormFare, a collectible card PvP game where players control a team of worms represented as NFTs, has partnered with Polygon Game Studio, becoming part of the Polygon ecosystem. This collaboration opens new opportunities for the game, promising to expand its functionality and improve performance through the use of the Polygon network.

WormFare was announced at the end of 2023 and has already raised $360,000 in pre-funding. The game offers not only engaging gameplay but also includes a real-world impact mission through the Quest-to-Earn model, where players can earn cryptocurrency rewards for completing real-life tasks, such as taking care of a houseplant.

The developers plan to introduce a minimum viable product (MVP) in the first quarter of 2024 and launch four game modes: tournaments, PvP, duels, and team battles. Plans also include listing on both DEX (decentralized exchanges) and CEX (centralized exchanges) and undergoing a security audit. The WormFare community already counts 30,000 users, indicating high interest in the project.
