Yuga Labs announced the launch of their new game "Dookey Dash: Unclogged," a free-to-play runner that will be available on PC and mobile devices this spring. The game promises a prize pool of at least $1 million. Developed by Faraway, known for creating Mini Royale: Nations, this Bored Ape-themed game will allow players to earn golden plungers by navigating through sewers and avoiding obstacles to achieve the highest score and top the leaderboard. The game will feature weekly and seasonal leaderboards, through which golden plungers are expected to be earned.
Details on how the rewards will be distributed were not disclosed at the time of writing. While there is speculation about using ApeCoin as the currency for reward distribution, Yuga Labs declined to confirm this information, stating that more details will be provided in the near future.
The game will be available this spring on Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS as a free downloadable title with potential in-game purchases. To gain early access, players need to sign up for the closed beta on the official game website. This will give them a chance to be among the 10,000 players who gain access to the closed beta, where one participant will win a Mutant Ape Yacht Club NFT.
