Axie Classic is introducing significant updates, including the highly anticipated addition of guilds, marking a new milestone in the game's development and community strengthening. For the first time in the game's six-year history, guilds will allow players to come together in virtual groups, exchange strategies, and celebrate achievements collectively. Key features of guilds include the Guild Vault for shared Axie usage and the Guild Treasury, which will distribute 70% of the season's rewards among members based on their contributions.

The guild update will be implemented in two stages, starting on March 7, when players can form and join guilds, and will culminate at the end of March with the launch of the first Guild Leaderboard season and AXS rewards. Registration for the Grand Tournament will also open, laying the groundwork for competitive play.

The update also focuses on art and accessibility, offering the option to switch to the classic Axies image and making the game more accessible through app stores to attract Web2 players. Balancing and progression are also in focus, with an emphasis on horizontal development through new features like guild systems and 2v2 modes, as well as vertical development through part and consumable upgrades.

The game's economy sees a shift towards increased SLP burning, with 8.5 million SLP already burned and 6.2 million in the Premium Coliseum, while AXS will reward top players, providing a reliable reward system for players and guilds.
