In 2023, projects related to artificial intelligence (AI) in the Web3 sector attracted significant investments amounting to $298 million, which greatly exceeds the total investment sum of the previous seven years ($148.5 million). This was discovered by analysts at Binance Research.

In the United States, despite an overall decrease in the volume of venture investments, the share of AI projects increased by 230%, reaching approximately 26%. At the same time, the decrease in funding for AI startups was only 6%, compared to a 65% drop in the overall investment volume.

The AI sector ranked seventh in terms of investment volume in Web3, surpassing areas such as NFT and DAO, with a share of 3.7%. This underscores investors' confidence in the long-term potential and viability of AI technologies and applications.

It is also noted that AI tokens showed positive dynamics in 2023, significantly outperforming Bitcoin and Ethereum in terms of market capitalization growth. This indicates the growing recognition and value of the AI sector.
