Bloktopia has presented its roadmap for 2024, which includes the launch of play-to-earn games, new features for the $BLOK token in the metaverse, introduction of NFT clothing for avatars, and much more. The metaverse developed by the Bloktopia team now publishes its roadmap, divided into sections: already implemented features, features in the final stage of testing, features under development, close to final testing, and long-term plans. Specific timelines in each section are not provided.
Among the features in the final stage of testing, developers highlight play-to-earn games, crypto stores, events from crypto partners, the BLOK Buster quiz, integration of RSS feeds and social networks, including X/Twitter, YouTube, and Twitch. Plans also include a global gaming leaderboard for arcade games, DAO voting directly in the metaverse, and a Virtual Headquarters for top-tier crypto partners, among others. Outside the metaverse, plans include integrating $BLOK on the Arbitrum chain, launching a new cloud streaming provider for a more accessible metaverse, and other initiatives.
Under development are additional play-to-earn games and cryptocurrency ATMs that work with fiat currencies. Work is also underway on NFT clothing for avatars with new ways to use the $BLOK token to expand its functionality. Among the long-term plans, the Bloktopia team intends to introduce Private Rooms - apartments in the metaverse that users can customize and in which they can communicate. A friends system is also planned to simplify social interaction, along with AI features, including audio and text translation using artificial intelligence.
