The developers of CryptoRuble have reached their first agreement for its listing on the new cryptocurrency exchange ABCex.io, as announced by Sergey Mendeleev, the CEO of Indefibank.
Currently, the platform is in the beta testing phase, and CryptoRuble assets will be added to it in the coming weeks.
After the completion of the testing period, CryptoRuble users will have the opportunity to participate in an airdrop.
The tokenized CryptoRuble, based on the Ethereum blockchain Ethereum, serves as an independent tool for conducting transactions and is not tied to the central bank's developing digital currency (CBDC).
The token emission occurs through a decentralized smart contract with overcollateralization in the DAI model, and its value is pegged to the national currency at a 1:1 ratio.
According to Mendeleev, CryptoRuble represents a universal code for fiat deposits that can be utilized by any project that has integrated its acceptance and issuance on their platform.
The total volume of issued assets will directly depend on the amount of collateral provided in the form of three stablecoins: USDT, USDC, and DAI.
As a reminder, work on the CryptoRuble project began in September 2022.
