Commission and Reward Distribution in Equilibria Finance
Equilibria utilizes accumulated vePENDLE to increase rewards for users who provide liquidity through Equilibria, allowing them to earn higher yields. When receiving rewards from Pendle, Equilibria distributes a majority of the rewards to LP tokens and a portion as protocol fees to other protocol participants, with the current distribution as follows:
- 77.5% for LP tokens
- 22.5% as protocol fees
The xEQB and vlEQB Tokens
The xEQB token serves to align Equilibria's goals with token holders and liquidity providers, mitigating issues commonly encountered in many DeFi protocols due to liquid capital.
vlEQB is a token that you receive when locking EQB/xEQB. The amount of vlEQB you can receive correlates with the lock-up period, which ranges from 1 to 52 weeks. The amount of vlEQB serves as a weight for receiving rewards from locking and voting. It decreases by 1 every passing week. By the time it can be claimed, vlEQB will reduce to 0.
