The esports organization Team Liquid announced a multi-year partnership with Mysten Labs, creators of the Sui Blockchain, to develop a new fan loyalty platform and NFT collecting experience. This initiative aims to revamp Team Liquid's existing loyalty program, rewarding fans with points for supporting the organization. The launch of the new platform is scheduled for the second quarter of 2024 and will allow Team Liquid fans to earn unique NFT collectibles, customize avatars, and receive exclusive benefits such as discounts, access to events, and special access to players and teams.

Claire Hungate, President and COO of Team Liquid, emphasized that true fandom requires evolution and support through an experience that strengthens the bond between the team and the fan. The Sui platform will help fans deepen their engagement with Team Liquid. As part of the collaboration, Team Liquid and Mysten Labs will also work on marketing programs, including live streams and content dedicated to crypto games on Sui.

Team Liquid already has experience in the cryptocurrency sphere, collaborating with the major cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase and the developers of the crypto game Illuvium, which uses the Ethereum scaling network Immutable X, for consulting on development and creating a competitive environment.
