Daniel Megard, known in the world of digital art as Seedphrase, has teamed up with the auction house Sotheby's to conduct the "Modern Discoveries" auction from February 23 to March 4. The auction features selected works from his extensive NFT collection, including pieces by artists such as XCOPY, Hackatao, Coldie, and Pak, as well as nine works of generative art from the GSR collection.

Seedphrase, the owner of a unique CryptoPunk with seven attributes, is one of the most well-known collectors in the NFT space. His collaboration with Sotheby's underscores the importance of digital art in the contemporary world of collecting and his commitment to advancing NFTs in the realm of traditional art.

Megard's interest in cryptocurrencies began in 2013, and he turned his attention to NFTs in 2018. Since then, he has assembled an impressive collection, including not only CryptoPunks but also Autoglyphs from Larva Labs, among many other valuable NFTs. He highlights his CryptoPunk and the full set of Autoglyphs as particularly significant pieces for himself.

According to Seedphrase, the collaboration with Sotheby's was driven by the auction house's deep understanding of digital art and its trends.
